The Transport Service You Need
The idea for what was to become Outreach Transportation Services was hatched when company founder and president Lisa Hull, over the course of her long career as a prehospital healthcare provider, noticed that there was a sizable segment of the population that was being underserved. Most of us don’t give a second thought to the mundane chores and reality of daily life – driving to the grocery store, the beauty parlor, the post office or to a doctor or dentist appointment. We just get in the car and go. For those with a physical or cognitive infirmity, however, simply taking care of those necessities of life can be as difficult as moving a mountain.
Our mission is to provide safe, affordable and compassionate transportation to those of our friends and neighbors in Bonner County who just need a little more help getting around. We’re not an ambulance and we’re not a taxi service – rides are scheduled by appointment only. But we’re also not a corporate behemoth hidebound by rules and restrictions. We are a small, local, family-owned and operated business and can be more flexible in meeting the needs of our clientele. Now we’d like to let you know a little bit about us. Our Team
The face of the company and the brains of the operation, Lisa has been a prehospital medical professional for more than 20 years and has called Bonner County home for nearly four decades. She is passionate about her career and is a formidable advocate for those in her care. She is very fond – and protective of – the senior population in our area.
Lisa’s brother Harry is a lifelong North Idaho resident and spent nearly 20 years as a network and telephone specialist at Coldwater Creek. In addition to driving for Outreach, Harry also has the unenviable and nerve-racking task of being in charge of the company’s finances. Harry also has the unique gift of being able to get along with anyone he meets almost immediately and has likely never met a stranger in his life.
Lisa’s husband Bob has also enjoyed a long career in public safety and prehospital medicine. A former photojournalist and professional writer, Bob is responsible for all marketing and communications and is the administrator of the company’s website and social media platforms.
